Sky Kitchen Privacy Policy
In short: Sky Kitchen has no accounts and never asks who you are. To learn which levels are too hard and which parts of the game work, it sends anonymous gameplay statistics to our analytics provider, GameAnalytics, tied to a random number made on your device — not your name, and not your device's advertising ID. The game also offers ads you can choose to watch for a reward; those are shown by Google AdMob, which uses your advertising ID. There are no ads you have to watch and no in-app purchases, and you can play without an internet connection. We do not sell your data.
Who we are
Sky Kitchen is a mobile game developed by AUgames ("we", "us"). This policy explains what happens to information when you play it.
Information we collect
We never ask for your name, email address, contacts, photos, precise location or anything you type. When your device is online, the game sends the following to GameAnalytics:
- How the game is played: levels started, won, lost or left and how long they took; how far each goal got; how many tools were placed, moved or removed; tutorial steps reached; coins, hearts, power-ups and boosters earned and spent; reward ads watched; challenge results.
- About the device and the app: the device model and manufacturer, the operating system and its version, the game's version, and when each play session starts and ends.
- A random identifier created by the game on your device, so the statistics of one player can be counted together. It is not your advertising ID and is not linked to your name or any account.
- Your approximate country, worked out from your IP address.
Why: only to understand and improve the game — for example, a level that most players lose gets easier. We do not use these statistics for advertising and do not sell them.
Legal basis (for players in the EEA and the UK): our legitimate interest in making the game work well and better, using data that does not identify you by name.
Your choices: playing offline sends nothing. Uninstalling the game, or clearing its data in your device's settings, deletes the random identifier, and a new one is made the next time you play. To ask about or delete data already sent, email us (below). Because the data is not tied to your name, we may need the date and device you played on to find it.
Advertising
Sky Kitchen shows an ad only when you choose to watch one, for a reward: free coins in the market, more time when a level's clock runs out, or a heart when you have none left. There are no banners and no ads that appear by themselves.
These ads are served by Google AdMob. To show ads, measure them and prevent fraud, Google receives your device's advertising ID, your IP address (from which an approximate location can be worked out), your device model and operating system, and how you interact with the ads. Google acts under its own privacy policy, linked below.
Your choices: if you are in the EEA or the UK, the game asks for your consent before ads use your data, and you can change your choice at any time in the game's Settings, under Privacy. Everywhere, you can reset or delete your advertising ID, or opt out of personalised ads, in your device's settings. You never have to watch an ad to play.
Information stored on your device
To remember your game, Sky Kitchen saves a small amount of data only on your own device:
- your progress through the levels,
- in-game coins, lives and power-ups,
- your settings, such as sound and music on or off.
This saved game never leaves your device and we cannot see it. It is deleted when you uninstall the game or clear its data in your device's settings.
Third-party services
GameAnalytics. The statistics above are processed for us by GameAnalytics ApS, which acts only on our instructions as our data processor. Data is sent encrypted (HTTPS) and handled under GameAnalytics' privacy notice, including how long it is kept and the safeguards for transfers outside the EEA.
Google AdMob. Serves and measures the rewarded ads, as described under Advertising, and provides the consent form shown in the EEA and the UK, under Google's Privacy Policy (see also how Google uses information from apps that use its services).
Unity. Sky Kitchen is made with the Unity game engine. The game uses none of Unity's online services — no Unity Analytics, Unity Ads or crash reporting — and sends no data to Unity Technologies.
Google. Before a daily or weekly challenge opens, the game asks a Google server for the current time, so that every player gets the same challenge on the same day. Nothing about you is sent with that request. If you download Sky Kitchen from Google Play, or join a test of it, Google handles that download, your test membership and any feedback you send through Google Play under Google's Privacy Policy.
The game contains no social or payment services.
Children
Sky Kitchen is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them. If you believe a child under 13 has played and you want their data deleted, contact us.
Changes to this policy
If a future version of Sky Kitchen changes what is collected or adds a feature that handles personal data, such as in-app purchases or another ad network, we will update this policy before that version is released and change the effective date above.
